Customer Reviews

I downloaded The Lion, The Lamb, The Hunted on my Kindle Fire about a month and got tied up so I couldn't find time to read. Friday night I finally had enough time to pick up a book and as I was browsing through my Kindle list, I saw Andrew Kaufman's book sitting there waiting for me.
I started reading it and couldn't put it down. I read half of it Friday night and the other half Saturday evening. I read Mr. Kaufman's first book While the Savage Sleeps and really liked it, but I found that I ended up liking the new one even more.
The main character, Patrick, is extremely likeable and you find yourself becoming very invested in his story and his experiences. In addition, the mystery is really well done. It is not so convoluted that you find yourself in disbelief, but not so simple that you can figure it all out by page 20 (or even 200).
I recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries, good characterization, or any good literature. It's well written, believable, and fun with great characters.

Incredible! I did not want to put this down at all and got annoyed when I had to. The family dynamic of the protagonist, Patrick, pulled me in right away and the mystery of their dynamic kept that pull strong. The characters were crisp and the dialogue believable. The pacing was amazing and I often found myself surprised by how much I had read without realizing it. I waited on pins and needles for this one to come out after reading While the Savage Sleeps. Mr. Kaufman has quickly become one of my favorite authors.
