This book does have some good information in it even though it's old. It is a very interesting read too. Tuberculosis was the main scare. The care taker is always referred to as a woman and the sick, male. There are some very humorous things as well. There are definitely some things that would not be done today. I definitely recommend this for a historical look at what good hygiene was and in some cases should still be. And let's not forget...wash your hands!
