How cute is this book? I downloaded it when it was offered for free from the author or publisher and viewed it using the Kindle app on my iPhone. The computer graphic drawings are VERY well done. I especially liked the quantity of them. Each small snippet of text has a corresponding piece of artwork. Great!
Boys will really enjoy the tale of Superior Guy. The author has set up so many elements that will spark imagination - a legion of superhero friends, a hall of villains to fight, and an ending that will get little minds spinning and dreaming up adventures. So much fun.
This book will be enjoyed by all ages but I think pre-k or kindergarten level would be perfect. It is also a story that will need to be read to the kiddos. I'm sure the reading level is quite beyond young readers. Some of the terms selected by the author may go over their heads even when read out loud - origins, civilian identity, colleagues, etc. Perhaps the author will take this into consideration when writing future stories.
Also - do the sidekicks need to be inferior and do menial tasks? Hmmm - when young kids are playing Superior Guy together, who is going to want to be the lowly, lesser character? Again, something for the author to consider.
This story is a perfect set up for a series. It's also perfect for viewing on iPads and the Kindle Fire - well done. A top-notch children's book.

What not to like for 99 cents?
The story is fun and well written; the pictures are beautifully drawn! Just an outstanding job. This eBook is better than most eBooks from large publishing companies. And by the way, it's written by a 16 year old!
