Having just purchased my Kindle, I have been able to downloaded a few Classics for free and pick up some books on the cheap. Really surprised at whats available. Angels Fallen was a nice find on the inexpensive rack. Took me for a good ride! Characters, plot, interwovened historical events made for a very nice read. Once I started reading, I could not put it down. Even skipped a meal! I highly recommend it!

A well written story that will make you want to continue to the next chapter...and then the next...and the next, without stopping. The characters were developed quite well - even the lesser-used and somewhat less important ones, such that just enough details to understand the thoughts of the main character and the reasoning behind those thoughts.
A couple things would have improved this for me... (1)Burial of gold at farm. How it happened? What transpired? (2) More background of exchange between Pope and Himmler. This would have been really interesting.
Overall, a good read... I'm hoping this may turn into a 2 part series.
