A friend of mine (thanks, Doc) recommended these books to me. Wanting to cut down on the number of physical books I own, I downloaded this first volume onto my Kindle. I have only read the first story, and it is well written, and the story is engrossing. I am looking forward to reading the next two books.
The problem is with the Kindle version. There are typos on almost every page. Most are not egregious, just annoying. "M e" instead of "Me", "t o" instead of "to", etc.
What is worse, however, is that there are no chapters, and no table of contents. I wanted to go back to check out some early references in the book, and had to page through a ton of pages to get there. Nor is there a way to go directly to any of the three books included! It is as if this were one loooooooong book, rather than three books put together.
So while I recommend this author (so far), I must recommend that the books be downloaded one at a time, rather than the "sets" of three featured here.
