A HUGE fan of scary and horror books (If you are have read and reviewed this book I guess you might be) and this book did deliver the goods. I would say it is exciting or frightening, depending on how you see it, I was sucked in to the very end.
If you enjoy any sort of horror stories, be it movies or books, I can assure you, you will love this and want more, for just 0.99 cents? It is a steal!

I read a lot of fiction, especially romance and teen-related and I must admit - a lot is junk. Also, my tastes are strange as I generally don't care for the national bestsellers (Twilight, etc) but like the out-of-the-ordinary, the indie authors, the unique twists. That's why The New Girl Who Found a Dead Body thrilled me so much! It was fresh, not what one expects. The title by the way is the perfect title as the new girl in school finds the body of the most popular girl in school... AWKWARD! (and dangerous as Chloe learns soon enough...)
So many stories in this genre are badly written, unoriginal, and too short. This is a mix of all that is good, a new twist on teen/high school fiction, one that crosses humor/mystery/scary, and it's certainly not a short story disguised as a novel - this is a full-length story you will thoroughly enjoy.
