"What I liked most about this book was the incredibly well-written characters. Jack was my favorite. In fact, I liked him from the moment he was introduced. He's witty without being sarcastic, (exchanges some great one liners with Crystal) and great with kids, so what woman wouldn't fall for him? Crystal is tough, knows what she wants and of course, one of her wants is Jack. All the characters, including the secondary characters were well written and the dialogue was smooth and natural sounding. I originally didn't plan to get this but since I am hard core romance reader with no mystery/murder's under my belt but it was free I thought what the heck. This book I would have paid going rate for a paperback, I am so glad I read it. I would describe this as mainly a murder mystery with a really good romance in the making . Even though I figured out who the villian was there were still some twists that kept me interested and surprised. The children were adorable and the h was so endearing I felt for her. The H sounded like a real sweetheart you just wanted to coddle him. Anyway, read it and weep....I did. Enjoy
